PRESS RELEASE
New satellite TV channel for North Africa
December 6, 2021

The French association Collectif Amical de Production is pleased to announce the launch of a new satellite television channel aimed at North Africa.

The purpose of this channel is to share the Christian faith, form disciples and encourage the development of Christian communities among the more than 30 million Berber peoples in Mauritania, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Niger and Mali. The channel will be broadcasting mainly in the languages of Tamazight [tzm], Tarafit [rif],
Tachelhit/Tasosit [shi], Tamajaq [ttq], Tamahaq [thv], Tachawit [shy], and Kabyle [kab] and will do some broadcasting in French and dialectical Arabic.

Although several Christian satellite television channels are currently being broadcast into North Africa, this new channel will be the only one to prioritise broadcasting in the tribal and heart languages of this region.

The launch date for the channel was December 3, 2021.

StoryChannel just received these videos from one of our North African partners affirming the pressing need for a Satellite Channel broadcasting in the least reached heart languages across North Africa.

Our North African partner encouraged us to start airing as soon as possible as so many more people could be reached through a Satellite TV channel broadcasting Christian programming!

The man featured above became a follower of Jesus Christ through an audio broadcast in his Moroccan tribal language of Tamazight.

StoryChannel was happy to hear one of our North African partners say when sending programming for broadcast:

Here are three more testimonies, one involving a healing, one a dream, and one a deliverance. I put a lot of thought in these little clips, so I’m really delighted to know that they’ll be broadcasted even wider than what we’ve done so far! 🙂 Thanks for your collaboration, blessings

These videos are in the Tachelhit language spoken in Morocco. There is little to no media representation in this language.

All videos above are in one of the least reached language groups StoryChannel is focused on broadcasting via Satellite TV.

It’s not too late to get in on the ground floor of this exciting project.
