Many things, and not little things, have transformed my life. To begin with, I saw the Messiah in a vision. In that dream, a voice said to me, “Get up and seek the Messiah!”

I replied, “Where can I find Him?”

Dear friends who are listening to me right now, I have the privilege today of sharing with you the Good News, and especially the way Jesus transformed my life.

My name is Omar. I come from a city in Niger. I was born of practicing Muslims. I was also a Muslim, but today I’m a Christian.

To begin with, I saw the Messiah in a vision. In that dream, a voice said to me, “Get up and seek the Messiah.”

I replied, “Where can I find Him?” I was perplexed like that until dawn.

In the early morning, I went to a friend to ask him what “Messiah” meant. My only goal was to understand who the Messiah is, and to decide to follow Him if He was someone good.

In my first question, I found out about the Trinity of God. He has no associate nor partner, but the Christians say He has a Son. A Son of God! A real mystery for a Muslim. What does that mean? He replied that the concept of Son of God means that He is more than a simple prophet, because which other prophet was born by the power of the Holy Spirit of God?

And if that’s the case, who is His Father, unless He is God? In other words, what else can we call Him? All the prophets, except Jesus, had biological fathers. I agreed that was how it is.

Then I asked what Christian prayer consisted of. It was just to test him. He replied that, for us Christians, prayer does not consist of turning in a particular direction, God is present everywhere. Thinking about that, it was clearly true. God is omnipresent.

So I challenged myself to become a Christian, to see. When I became one, my heart was changed profoundly. A great joy filled my soul, my whole being. I was really happy, full of joy.

Today, my new life is very different from the old. My transformation didn’t go unnoticed. People around me noticed that I’d become more polite and loving. The day I believed in Christ, He transformed my life. I’m no longer the same. My life in Christ is far better than that I used to lead. In my opinion, in Christ, I’ve chosen the best. I’m ready to face death and without fear.

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” Romans 8:15

Jesus was sent by God to forgive our sins, to die in our place, and then went into heaven to come back one day. Jesus, you know, really did die. For whoever has doubts, make the effort to seek and verify for yourself. All the prophets were buried, but He, He ascended into heaven and from there He’s coming back. I’ve got absolutely no doubt about that.

In truth, God has so loved us.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have life everlasting. John 3.16

But you need to believe that there is no other God than He who created us. God is one, the Creator, there is no other. He who walks with Him and His sent-one (Jesus) is on the right path.

By nature we are sinners from birth, that’s our heritage from Adam and Eve due to Satan. But Jesus came to wash us from our sins. That is the fundamental reason He came. Jesus came to free us from sin, and He did it. He Himself said “Whoever believes in me has eternal life”.

Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life. John 5:24

Let me just say again that Jesus is the way, He is real joy.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God;a believe in Me as well.In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am.You know the way to the place where I am going. John 14:1-4

It’s He that God sent to show you the right path.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” John 14:6,7

In time, I met other brothers in the faith who believed in one God and His sent-one Jesus, who I’m telling you about. As for us, God revealed Jesus to us. We have followed Him and are in joy today. We give thanks to God for this happiness.

Dear friends, you who are seeking the true path to God, come to Christ. I encourage anyone who wants that joy, to come to Jesus without delay. Jesus came to free us from sin, and He did it. He Himself said “Whoever believes in me has eternal life”.

I would encourage you all to come to Christ and experience the joy He’ll put in you heart. The reason is simple… Life with Jesus has no equal. It’s incomparable.
